A COUPLE OF UPDATES
a few things were wrong in yesterday’s newsletter:
Did you know it is very hard to schedule PowerPoint Presentation Party?
Apparently it is. This thing has been rescheduled like a million times.
MAY 7 (NOT Apr 23): PowerPoint Presentation Party [link]
Did you know it is very hard to run an events newsletter?
I had a long talk with Ryan, who runs this event, about how I would include it in the newsletter, and then I did not.
Apr 30: Very Funny Party with Experimental Comedy and Halloween Costumes, Vol. 1 [link]
There is really a lot going on here: “we have burlesque, we have a clowny mc, we have standup comedians, we have an improv troupe, we have face painting, we have artists, we have rave dj-ing, we have these cool puzzle pieces to help people make friends and form teams for little minigames, we have a fashion show for funny shirts, and also it is HALFOWEEN (half a year until normal halloween, right?), so we have a fashion show for halloween costumes”
How was I supposed to remember all this, Ryan?

About Misha
Hi, I’m Misha! Nice to meet you. I make this newsletter. We started this in September. Around the same time, I also started my own substack. So far the most popular post is one called Stop Pretending Toronto is More Than It Is, which you might like. Or read more about Toronto Event Generator.
I run and host the Trampoline Hall Lecture Series. I co-host All About Intimacy, a conversation event about love, sex, and friendship, and sometimes host a live-band karaoke night at Jean Darlene Piano Room.
In my working life, I help companies foster better human connection - I help teams get better at talking about tough issues, and help organizations run better conferences, workshops, and offsites.
You can find me on twitter, instagram, substack… See you at the next event!
