Daytime dance party and more! Starts off kid-friendly, then kid-unfriendly.
Mar 15: Toronto Limicon Mixer [link]
For people “around the liminal, integral, metamodern, game b, second renaissance, regen, and related scene”. I DO NOT KNOW what those words mean, but I have a feeling that I am drawing a line between knowing and not-knowing which probably means I am still playing game a. At Bampot, of course.
Mar 16: Disco Descendants Family Rave [link]
“Bring your kids and introduce your family to the uplifting unity of club culture.” I really hope there’s a lot of drugs at this, but I am pretty sure not.
Mar 16: Tantra Speed Date [link]
I (Misha) went to this once and it was kinda cool, actually. You get paired up with people one at a time, and each time you do some sort of quick/weird exercise around connection or vulnerability or suspicious soul-melding stuff. Bad part: I showed up and it felt like there was no one I was into. Good part: It turns out that if you do a seven-minute intimacy exercise with someone you’re not initially into, it can generate some attraction you might not have thought was possible. You can become attracted to people! (Maybe everyone else already knows this, but it was news to me).
Mar 17: Drink & Draw [link]
At Bampot.
Mar 18: Many Happy Returns [link]
A time-travel immersive theatre thing at a 1924 New Years party. This totally sounds like the sort of thing you are into, right?
Mar 19: Criminal Minds: The Science of Forensic Psychology at Offworld [link]
Are you not sure whether you want to learn about Forensic Psychology, or hang out in Toronto’s only space-themed bar? YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DECIDE!!!
Mar 19: The Art of Fine Dining Etiquette Master Class [link]
You know your manners are awful. Brush up, you animal.
Mar 19: Philosophy on Tap [link]
Talk about philosophy at Bampot. (Everyone loves Bampot. I keep trying to go but somehow I never make it there.)
Mar 20: Fuckup Nights Toronto 8 Year Anniversary [link]
Tales of business failure!

Excellent weirdo comedy show.
Mar 27: Values Based Slow Burn: Dating Edition [link]

Mar 30: Learn.Swap.Make [link]
Clothing swap AND panel discussion! This is totally the sort of thing you are into!
Mar 30: A Systematic Approach to Emotions [link]
Raionalists talk about their feelings. Turns out Buddhism is how to do it.
Apr 1: Being and Becoming Curiosity Cafe [link]
Talk about philosophy at the Madison

About Misha
Hi, I’m Misha! Nice to meet you. I make this newsletter, with help from Bianca Guimarães de Manuel. We started this in September. Around the same time, I also started my own substack. So far the most popular post is one called Stop Pretending Toronto is More Than It Is, which you might like. Or read more about Toronto Event Generator.
I run and host the Trampoline Hall Lecture Series. I co-host All About Intimacy, a conversation event about love, sex, and friendship, and sometimes host a live-band karaoke night at Jean Darlene Piano Room.
In my working life, I help companies foster better human connection - I help teams get better at talking about tough issues, and help organizations run better conferences, workshops, and offsites.
You can find me on twitter, instagram, substack… See you at the next event!
